TURKISH COFFEE

Turkish coffee is a rich, thick, and delightful drink to be enjoyed slowly with good company. It is brewed in a copper coffee pot called a Xhezve (jez-VEY), made with powder-like ground coffee, and sweetened to the drinker's taste.

 

BEFORE YOU START:

PREFERRED COFFEE Medium - Dark Roast

PRISTINO IS OUR RECOMMENDED BLEND

GRIND SETTING Extra Fine

WATER TEMP Between 150° - 160°

EXTRA FINE GRIND

50 ML WATER

150° - 160° TEMP

  • Measure the turkish coffee cup with cold water and pour it in the cookig pot "Xhezve".

  • Place the pot "xhezve" in flame or hot topstove.

  • Add coffee grounds — in a not quite boiling water—into the pot.

  • Countinue cooking coffee but do not boil it. Remove from topstove if neccessary so it doesn't boil and it saved the nice thick crema.

  • Pour it slowly in the cup
